About

Perched high in a historic 1860s gem above an iconic Melbourne laneway, Ferdydurke’s loft is a celebration of our favourite pastimes; leisure, pleasure and liquor.

Ferdydurke’s interior takes inspiration from Witold Gombrowicz’s classic surrealist novel, with floor to ceiling poster art and a love for all things absurd and eclectic. Be met by grand arch windows, intimate corners, high ceilings, and a panoramic view of street art from our open-air balcony as the sun sets over the city skyline.

At any given day of the week, you’ll find decadent cocktails to savour, a top selection of local wines, spirits and craft beers – and an upbeat soundtrack curated by the city’s best local DJs, live musicians and independent artists as day turns to night. Stay curious.
